The next Annual Lecture will be at 8pm on Friday January 10th 2025. This will be given by Max Cotton, a British television journalist who has worked as a reporter at BBC News in Westminster, and spent a year living entirely on what he produces on his small holding in Somerset. He used Cobbett’s Cottage Economy as a guide. He has since made a monthly 15 minutes summary on Youtube of his activities. You can get them if you type into a search engine ‘Max Cotton No Milk Today’. They are very watchable and have plenty of tips for self-sufficiency enthusiasts. Those of you who came to the Cobbett Lecture the year before last on Cobbett’s Cottage Economy will be particularly interested in how someone lived the book!
