We are delighted to announce that the BBC World Service have produced a radio programme as part of their ‘The Forum’ series on William Cobbett: Champion of Rural Workers (William Cobbett: Industrialization and its impact on England’s rural population).
Our Chairman, Richard Thomas, and the Katharine Stearn (editor of our ‘Cobbett’s New Register’) took part in a discussion, chaired by well-known broadcaster Bridget Kendall.
